How We Teach Our Photography Classes

Camera Basics

We know all those buttons and dials can be overwhelming. We will walk you through the how, what and why you might want to know how to change your cameras settings in a fun user friendly way. We work with each student so they understand their camera, are confident, can take better pictures and know how they did it!

Exercises

Most of us learn by doing! That is why we take the time to step away from the classroom and go outside. We practice how to get that blurry background. How to freeze action like wine droplets or someone jumping in the air. We work with each student hands on and make sure they understand how to capture that shot!

We put it all together

Each step of the class uses exercises and practice to ensure our students understand. We then bring it all together and talk through composition and lighting. At the end of the class our students walk away with the knowledge of how to use all of those buttons and dials. They have the confidence to use that knowledge to capture those special moments.
